The Ultimate Navigator: Taejin’s Path to Eagle Scout

If you’ve spent time at the White Pony Express distribution center, you may have seen one of our favorite father-son teams heading out on deliveries. For the past two years, Taejin has ridden shotgun as “navigator,” helping his dad ensure good food reaches neighbors who need it most.

Recently, Taejin took the lead on a project of his own. For his Eagle Scout rank, he chose to give back to the community he’s long served—organizing a food drive for WPE. He hit the pavement, talked with neighbors, distributed flyers, and set up collection bins across the area. By the end of the project, Taejin had rallied enough support to collect 770 pounds of food for hungry neighbors.

Watching Taejin grow from a dedicated volunteer to a confident leader has been a joy. We’re proud of his hard work and grateful to have him—and his navigating skills—on the team.

Congratulations on your Eagle Scout project, Taejin. We’re so glad you’re part of WPE!
