White Pony Express volunteers and staff came together for a joyful Holiday Cookie Exchange & Potluck filled with sweetness, gratitude, and plenty of laughter. It was a wonderful reminder that the people who rescue and deliver food all year long also know how to show up for—and take care of—one another.
The midday gathering featured a lively cookie swap, a generous potluck spread, and a festive raffle that kept the room buzzing. Volunteers arrived with tins and trays overflowing with homemade cookies, along with appetizers that quickly transformed the tables into a colorful holiday display. The event offered a chance to slow down, catch up, and connect outside of regular routes and shifts. Recipe sharing, warm conversations, and more than a few second helpings made the space feel especially welcoming.
Events like the Cookie Exchange & Potluck are one way WPE says thank you to the volunteers who power our mission. Their dedication keeps high-quality food flowing—free of charge—to neighbors across the county. And moments like these help
strengthen the community and spirit that make this work possible.
