Through our Social Impact Partner Program, your business can adopt WPE as its Signature Program — a year-round commitment that puts your team directly into the work: rescuing fresh food, stocking school pantries, and making sure 135,000 neighbors across Contra Costa County have fresh, healthy food on their tables.
The work is tangible. Every day, WPE recovers 12,500 pounds of fresh, nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste and delivers it — free of charge — to 144 partner organizations serving families, seniors, and children across our county. A Signature Partnership ties your company’s name to that directly.
Choose the program that fits your mission:
- Food Recovery Program — sponsor a delivery route, fund a refrigerated truck, or adopt a food donor partner.
- School Pantry Program — adopt a school and help stock a weekly pantry for local families, running year-round including summers.
- Food Rescue Hero Program — fund the app-based network connecting surplus food with nonprofits in real time.
We recommend starting with a team volunteer shift. In a few hours, your people will sort rescued food alongside WPE’s high-spirited volunteers and understand firsthand why this work matters.
