The White Pony Express (WPE) community is coming together in support of our LA neighbors. WPE is collecting Gift Cards for those impacted by the fires and using their Volunteer Project Room as a space to write messages of love and support to accompany the Gift Cards.
Last week WPE sent $1,700 in gift cards to the Children’s Lifesaving Foundation (CLF). CLF is putting together emergency packs for 120 displaced children and their families. Many of these families were already homeless and living in motels from which they’ve since had to evacuate. The emergency packs include gift cards to grocery stores and drug stores, toiletry packs, and gift cards for pet food and supplies.
