The White Pony Express Clothing and Care Program is comprised of three initiatives: the Cold Weather Clothing Initiative, Baby Backpacks for New Mothers, and Community Pop-Up Mobile Boutiques.
We aim to help individuals and families reach their full potential by supplying love, hope, and support. With the help of our partners and donors, WPE uplifts the lives of residents across the county and beyond.
“At WPE, we don’t see red tape – We see a need and respond with love by giving what is needed. It is so simple you would think everyone would be doing it. I believe one day everyone will be doing it.”

A Closer Look at Clothing and Care Initiatives
Cold Weather Clothing Initiative: This critical project addresses winter needs beyond clothing. We provide necessities from tarps to sleeping bags with pads to emergency backpacks. To support this initiative, click the button below.
Baby Backpacks for New Mothers: The Baby Backpack Initiative provides high-quality backpacks to women enrolled in the county’s Black Infant Health Program. Each bag is filled with diapers, baby clothes, blankets, toys, infant-care products, and new outfits for mothers, along with toys for siblings.
Pop-Up Mobile Boutiques: WPE’s unique boutiques are a community favorite! We roll up and roll out a beautiful array of items specific to each group we serve, ensuring guests are able to shop for the things they want and need. WPE hosts customized pop-up boutiques for veterans, the unsheltered, students, older adults, survivors of abuse, and people in recovery.
